The "HGVS National Awards" are instituted to honor and celebrate individuals and organizations who have made outstanding and transformative contributions to the nation in their respective fields & belong to the Vishwakrma community. These awards recognize excellence, innovation, and unwavering dedication that have significantly impacted society, fostered national development, and upheld the core values of progress, integrity, and social responsibility.


*1. Awards Name & Categories*
The awards are categorized into three tiers, reflecting the scale and impact of the contribution.
 *HGVS Vishwakarma Ratna Award:* The highest National award for lifetime achievement and unparalleled service.
   * Prize: A ceremonial shield, a medal (Maha-Ratna), a certificate of honor (Sanad), and a prize of ₹5,00,000.


 *HGVS Vishwakarma Bhushan Award:* For exceptional and distinguished service of a high order.
   * Prize: A medal (Bhushan-Padak), a certificate of honor (Sanad), and a prize of ₹2,00,000.


 *HGVS Vishwakarma Gaurav Award:* For distinguished service in any field.
   * Prize: A medal (Gaurav-Padak), a certificate of honor (Sanad), and a prize of ₹1,00,000.


*2. Area of Awards*
Awards will be given in the following fields, recognizing contributions that have a demonstrable national impact:
 *Education:* For pioneering educational reforms, innovative teaching methods, and significant contributions to literacy and academic excellence.
 *Social Development:* For exceptional work in social reform, community service, human rights, and the upliftment of marginalized communities.
 *Economy:* For revolutionary contributions to economic policy, industry, trade, and entrepreneurship that have boosted national growth.
 *Technology & Science:* For groundbreaking research, technological innovation, and scientific advancements that address national challenges.
 *Religion & Sanskar (Culture):* For promoting inter-faith harmony, ethical values, traditional knowledge systems, and preserving cultural heritage.
 *Health:* For extraordinary service in medicine, public health initiatives, medical research, and healthcare delivery.
 *Politics & Public Service:* For exemplary public administration, ethical governance, and selfless service in a public office.
 *Art & Literature:* For outstanding creations in visual arts, performing arts, and literary works that enrich the nation's cultural fabric.
 

*3.Eligibility*
 *Nationality:* All nominees must be citizens of India. For joint projects, the key contributors must be Indian citizens. All government employees, public sector employees, and people holding political positions can also register or apply for the award. But they have done outstanding work in the relevant field for more than 5 years. They are either from the Vishwakarma community or work for the Vishwakarma Community at the national and international level.


 *Age:* The minimum age limit is 13 years for both M/F. This award is not for Children. Both individuals and organizations are eligible for nomination.


 *Ineligible:* The people who do not complete the eligibility requirements of the HGVS National Awards are not eligible.


 *Previous Awardees:* An individual or organization cannot be nominated for the same tier of award more than once. They may be considered for a higher-tier award for subsequent, more significant contributions.


*4. Registration Process & Timeline*
 *Nomination Window:* The nomination process will be announced annually on January 1st.
 *Method:* All nominations must be submitted online through the official HGVS National Awards portal. Self-nomination is permitted.
 

*Registration Fee:*
The registration Fees is ₹ 10000/- for each award and will be Non-Refundable. Kindly Register Carefully to check details.
 

*Submission Requirements:* The nomination form must include a detailed portfolio of the nominee's work, including supporting documents, media, and testimonials. The submission must clearly articulate the impact and significance of the work.
 

*Deadline:* The last date for all submissions is September 30th, 2025 (Only for Current Year).
 

*Duration:* Contributions must be demonstrable over a period of at least two years immediately preceding the nomination year. For the HGVS Ratna, a lifetime of work is considered.
 

*5. Selection Criteria*
The selection process is rigorous and multi-layered to ensure fairness and impartiality.
 *Criterion of Excellence:* The work must be truly outstanding and have a measurable, positive impact on society or the nation.
 *Criterion of Innovation:* Preference will be given to those who have introduced novel ideas, methods, or solutions.
 *Criterion of Social Impact:* The work must align with the values of social development, public service, and national progress.
 *Verification:* All claims made in the nomination form will be subject to independent verification by a designated research committee.

*6. Selection Process*
 *Screening Committee:* An initial screening committee, composed of experts from various fields, will review all nominations to ensure they meet the basic eligibility and submission criteria.
 *Jury Panels:* Separate, independent jury panels will be constituted for each award area (e.g., a panel for Education, a panel for Technology, etc.). These panels will consist of 5-7 eminent, non-partisan experts. Each panel will create a shortlist of finalists.
 *National Selection Committee:* A high-level, central committee will review the shortlists from all jury panels. This committee will be responsible for making the final recommendations to the governing body.
 *Final Approval:* The final list of awardees will be approved by the designated head of the governing body (e.g., the President of the HGVS Foundation, etc.).


*7. Awards Kit*
Each awardee will receive a kit containing:
 * The specified medal and a miniature replica.
 * A certificate (Sanad) signed by the head of the awarding body.
 * The prize money in a bank account transfer.
 * A formal invitation to the award ceremony for the awardee and a guest.


*8. Place & Date Announcement*
 * Announcement Date: The list of all "HGVS National Awards" recipients will be announced annually on August 15th (Independence Day).
 *Ceremony Place:* The award ceremony will be held in a prominent national auditorium or a state ceremony hall in the nation's capital.
 *Ceremony Date:* The awards will be conferred on a date between December 1st and December 31st of the same year.


*9. Decision Rights & General Rules*
 *Governing Body:* All decisions regarding the awards, including selection, disqualification, and interpretation of the rules, rest solely with the HGVS National Awards Governing Body.
 *Confidentiality:* The deliberation process and the names of the nominees are confidential until the final announcement.
 *No Correspondence:* No correspondence will be entered into with nominees who are not selected.
 *Award Cancellation:* The governing body reserves the right to withdraw an award at any time if a recipient's conduct is found to be contrary to the values and principles of the awards.
 *Amendment:* The rules and regulations for the awards may be amended from time to time by the HGVS National Awards Governing Body.
